A multi-text manuscript containing two different texts. The first text in this manuscript is tentatively identified as the Ṛgvedānukramaṇikā (cf. Parameswara Aithal 1991: 239), possibly interspersed with an anonymous commentary that seems to start before the text (or by an unidentified independent text that precedes it). The second text is the Anuvākānukramanī by Śaunaka, "[a] short index containing about 40 verses. It states the initial words of each of the 85 Anuvāka-s of the Ṛg-veda and the number of hymns contained in each Anuvāka. It also contains at the end some statistical details such as the total number of hymns (1017), verses (10,580 and a half), words (153,826), syllables (432,000)" (Parameswara Aithal 1991: 90). The version in this manuscript is slightly different from the one found in Chandra Sharma's edition (1977: 43-47; for instance, the first 14 verses are missing). The manuscripts consists of two codicological units, as the first folio is a later supply.
"
