Sanskrit Manuscripts : Ṣaḍviṃśabrāhmaṇa

Unknown

Sanskrit Manuscripts

A manuscript of the Ṣaḍviṃśabrāhmaṇa, a Brāhmaṇa of the Sāmaveda, regarded as a supplement to the Pañcaviṃśabrāhmaṇa. According to the colophon, it was written in 1635-36 CE (Vikrama year 1692) by a scribe named Soma for the personal use of a certain Rāmacandra (somena likhitaṃ tra°trivedinā (?) rāmacaṃdreṇa li°likhāpitam ātmapaṭhanārthaṃ); later additions to the colophon show that it was then in the possession first of Harirāma, then of Devarāma and finally of Kṛpārāma (possibly Rāmacandra's descendants).
