<p style='text-align: justify;'> Manuscript Kk.5.7 contains a single text, <i> Erotian, <i> Collection of Hippocratic words</i></i>, a glossary of medical terms. Not much is known about this author, who lived in the 1st century CE, during the reign of emperor Nero. This copy of the text was made around the middle of the 16th century by the scribe Manuel Provataris (also known as Emmanuel Graecus). Born in Crete, Provataris was <i> Scriptor</i> at the Vatican Library from 1546-1571. </p><p style='text-align: justify;'> Manuscript Kk.5.7 is currently bound as the second part of a single volume with three other manuscripts, Kk.5.6, 8 and 9.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Dr Erika Elia</p>
