<p style='text-align: justify;'>This green hard-bound notebook belongs to the Needham Research Institute Papers of Joseph Needham Travel, 1931 - 1989. In this notebook Joseph Needham recorded details of each meeting of the International Commission on Bacteriological Warfare in China and Korea, from the first meeting on 23 Jun. 1952 to the fortieth meeting and final signing ceremony on 31 Aug. 1952. It includes locations of the meetings, names of people attending the meetings, the contents of the meetings, summaries of questions asked and answers given, the organisation of the work and a record of actions taken. </p>
