Sanskrit Manuscripts : Devīmāhātmya

Unknown

Sanskrit Manuscripts

A modern manuscript containing the Devīmāhātmya (or Durgasaptaśatī) with its ancillary texts. In the colophon, the date when the copying has been completed and the name of the scribe are stated: the date (Jaya Jovian year, Āṭi month, 22th day) may correspond to August 4th, 1834 CE or to August 5th, 1894 CE (the latter seems more plausible); the name of the scribe is Veṅkuṭicuppaṉ.
