<p style='text-align: justify;'>The file contains copies of entries from Hall's diary from 8 to 14 Dec. 1941, correspondence between Hall and Hugh Bryson, and letters from Hall to Major General S. W. Kirby (8 sheets).</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Julian Dudley Hall entered the Malayan Civil Service in 1910 and served as the British Adviser, Kedah, from 1932. He retired in 1946.</p>
