<p style='text-align: justify;'>Legal document in which a loan of 200 ‘black coins’ is given by a school teacher, to be returned in monthly instalments of 40 coins. Written under the jurisdiction of Abraham Maimonides, in 1224 CE. Signed by Yeḥiʾel b. Elyaqim and Nimr b. Elijah. On verso, the court testifies that this loan will not be cancelled in the šemita (sabbatical year). Signed by Isaac b. Ḥalfon, Ḥananel b. Samuel and Yeḥiʾel b. Elyaqim. </p>
