<p style='text-align: justify;'>Recto: letter, from Nathaniel b. Ḥalfōn, in Alexandria, to Obadiah b. Benayahu, in Fusṭāṭ, asking the recipient to help Maṣliaḥ b. Jacob, a travelling scholar from Europe, who wishes to return to his homeland. Opens with quotes from Proverbs 18:10 and Psalms 37:30, 11. Verso: draft of a letter, from the travelling scholar Maṣliaḥ b. Jacob, to Maymūn, a famed philanthropist, to whom Maṣliaḥ resorts for help in returning to his homeland. The traveller has come to Fusṭāṭ solely in the hope of obtaining Maymūn’s help, and he wants to set sail by Passover. Also mentions Maymūn’s oldest son Jacob. </p>
