<p style='text-align: justify;'>Recto: part of a ketubba for Mazel bat Isaac Aruḵ and Abraham Ṭūrībī (טוריבי).The names of the couple are listed on the verso. The date is not preserved but the text refers to ‘here, Egypt’. Dowry is in the medin currency (מאיידיש כסף). Witnessed by Abraham Castro and Solomon Zrahya. The border is beautifully illuminated with botanical designs coloured green, red, blue, pink and gold. Ca. 19th century.</p>
