Cairo Genizah : Letter

Cairo Genizah

Letter, apparently sent from Samannūd (in the Nile delta). The writer, who is apparently on his travels, is very worried about his children as he did not receive any letters during his two-month stay in Alexandria. He explains that ‘Muslims and Jews were not separated from those they were negotiating with’, and mentions Abū Manṣūr, his father, possibly Abū l-Maʿālī, a Ḥaver, Abū l-Surūr, and [...] ha-Levi.
