The text consists of 17 kārikās devoted to the pronunciation of "y", "v" and the "anusvāra". The illustrations are taken from the Vājasaneyisaṃhitā. This manuscript has been written by the same scribe who wrote the Lomaśīśikṣā (Add.1709), written in 1877, and the Keśavīśikṣā (Add.1710). These three manuscripts were most probably produced as a single collection, and they share many common features (for instance, paper and layout are identical). Moreover, the present manuscript consists of one single folio numbered as 8, clearly a continuation of the foliation of manuscript Add.1710 (consisting of seven folios), and the catch number (18) found on its verso is written also on the last folio of manuscript Add.1710.
"
