Fragments from the Yājñavalkyaśikṣā, an important śikṣā ("Teaching [on Pronunciation]") belonging to the Vājasaneyī school of the Yajurveda and traditionally attributed to Yājñavalkya. It is included in the field of knowledge known as vedalakṣaṇa. The text shares numerous verses with other similar works such as the Pāṇinīya and the Nāradīyaśikṣās, as well as ‏Uvaṭa's commentary on the Vājasaneyi-pratiśākhya. The text is known in various recensions. For instance, verses 20 and 21 of the present manuscript correspond to verses 55 and 56 of the edition by Tripāṭhī, and various other verses do not seem to have been included in the edition. Most probably, this manuscript has been written by the same scribe of Add.2079.1, with which shares many common features (script, paper and layout are almost identical).
"
