   "value": "<p style='text-align: justify;'>A paper manuscript of the <i>Mahāvākyaprabodha<\/i>, which includes here two works: the relatively well-known <i>Saṃnyāsagrahaṇapaddhati<\/i> (which constitutes the largest portion of the manuscript) and the lesser known <i>Nirvāṇayogapāṭhoccāraṇavyākhyā<\/i>. The <i>Saṃnyāsagrahaṇapaddhati<\/i>, wrongly attributed to Śaṅkara, is known under various names: Saṃnyāsagrāhyapaddhati, Saptasūtrī/Saptasūtra, Saptasūtropaniṣad and sometimes Vedāntaviśrāntopaniṣad; it presents the gist of the ceremony of renunciation (<i>saṃnyāsa<\/i>) from an Advaita Vedānta standpoint. The transmitted texts of the <i>Saṃnyāsagrahaṇapaddhati<\/i>, of variable lengths and contents, would have been composed around the 16th century (Bouy 1994: 227). <\/p>"
