Sanskrit Manuscripts : Mīmāṃsāsūtra

Sanskrit Manuscripts

A composite manuscript of an unpublished commentary or “garland of chapters” (adhikaraṇamālā) on the Mīmāṃsāsūtras by Rāghavānanda Sarasvatī, who may have lived in the 18th century (Mishra 1964: 62). The work is the same as the one described under Add.894 and 1715. The manuscript contains the whole of books 4-7 of the collection, and a tiny part of book 8 (from 8.1.1 to 8.1.11). It is the result of the deliberate grouping of two manuscripts, covering sūtras 4.1.1-6.7.23 and 6.7.24-8.1.11 respectively, and the text is continuous. Unfortunately, no information on the scribes is provided.
