<p style='text-align: justify;'> An important <i>śikṣā</i> ("Teaching [on Pronunciation]") belonging to the <i>Vājasaneyī</i> school of the <i>Yajurveda</i> and traditionally attributed to Yājñavalkya. It is included in the field of knowledge known as <i>vedalakṣaṇa</i>. It shares numerous verses with other similar texts such as the <i>Pāṇinīya</i> and the <i>Nāradīya</i><i>śikṣā</i>s, as well as ‏Uvaṭa's commentary on the <i>Vājasaneyi-pratiśākhya</i>. The text is known in various recensions. Regarding this manuscript, LVP notes: "Recension shorter than the printed edition (Benares Sk. Ser)". </p>
