Vidyāraṇya, Mādhava

Sanskrit Manuscripts

A paper manuscript of the Aparokṣānubhūtidīpikā, a commentary by Vidyāraṇya on the Aparokṣānubhūti (also known as Aparokṣānubhava, Aparokṣānubhavasudhārṇava or Aparokṣānubhavāmṛta), a metrical treatise on Advaita Vedānta. Although the Aparokṣānubhūti is generally ascribed to Śaṅkara, it contains "views at variance with those of Śaṅkara, such as the denial of the Jīvanmukta being subject to Prārabdhakarman (verse 99ff.)" (NCC, Vol. 1, p.251). There are several editions of this work, with and without the commentary.
