Sanskrit Manuscripts : Kumārasambhava

Sanskrit Manuscripts

This single leaf contains the first 15 verses of sarga 5 of Kālidāsa's Kumārasambhava. It breaks off in the middle of verse 15. It is found in the same bundle as Add.2251.1 and 2251.2 (Jayamaṅgalā), to which it is not related in any way, although it appears to be equally old. Both the kind of palm leaf and the script are in fact entirely different. It is not known when this leaf was added to the bundle nor by whom.
