Sanskrit Manuscripts : Bṛhatsaṃhitā

Varāhamihira

Sanskrit Manuscripts

A 6th-century encyclopedic work by Varāhamihira, dealing with wide-ranging subjects such as astrology, planetary movements, eclipses, rainfall, gems and pearls. The manuscript shows clear signs of having been copied in a Jain scriptorium and, therefore, testifies to the Jains' interest in the work.
