Sanskrit Manuscripts : Pañcadaśīṭīkā

Vidyāraṇya, Mādhava, Rāmakṛṣṇa

Sanskrit Manuscripts

A paper manuscript containing Rāmakṛṣṇa’s commentary (ṭīkā) on the first five chapters (prakaraṇa) of the Pañcadaśī by Vidyāraṇya, with the mūla text. The Pañcadaśī is a well-known treatise on Advaita Vedānta that has been published several times with various commentaries. The order of the chapters is the following: 1, 2, 4, 5 and 3. The last folio of the manuscript contains the conclusion of chapter 3 as well as the beginning of chapter 4 (already copied in the earlier part of the manuscript); the manuscript is therefore incomplete. Some chapters of the manuscript have been written years apart (see Rubrics below), and all seem to have been written by different hands.
