<p style='text-align: justify;'>Karaite marriage deed, written on 10 Adar 5612 A.M. and 2163 Sel. (= 3 March 1852 CE) in <placename type=settlement ref=/catalog/place_7001215 key=place_7001215>Cairo</placename> (אלקהרה הסמוכה לצוען מצרים). The groom is Moses b. Abraham, and the bride is ʿAzīza bat Joseph ha-Kohen. The names Moses and ʿAzīza are written in red ink, as is the blessing in large letters at the top, and the abbreviation and quotation signs in the body of the text. There is a red and green foliated border. The blessing from Genesis 49:22 בן פרת יוסף בן פרת עלי עין is written decoratively in green and red at the bottom of the deed. The witnesses sign with a Judaeo-Arabic formula, וחצ׳ר ושהד בדלךּ. The witnesses are Moses ha-Kohen b. Judah and Solomon b. Šayaʿda (שיעדה). A third note, signed by Joseph ha-Levi b. Abraham ha-Levi, states that the marriage will take place in the groom's house, אלעקד פי מנזל אלחתן.</p>
