Simḥa ha-Kohen, who is addressed with a full array of titles, beginning with segan ha-kohanim (סגן הכהנים, 'Chief of the Priests'). The letter mentions a voyage to the city of Ceuta (מדינה סבתה, in Morocco) with Ibrahīm. It is prefaced with Psalms 34:2-3; 34:23; 34:8; 31:25; 41:2; Proverbs 19:17; Job 41:3. The letter is made up of narrow sheets of paper glued top to bottom, and the end of the letter is lost. Verso contains laudatory openings to letters in different hands, some crossed out.</p>
