<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>Formerly (in Geneva) Ir.M. 43.</p><p>The collection contains 12 miniatures from a ms. dated c. 1650-60 (Ir.M. 43-43/J). Described in Anthony Welch, Collection of Islamic Art, vol. I (1972), pp. 202-12; see also Moya Carey's unpublished catalogue, 2002, vol. I, pp. 131-32, for two folios of this set, dated 1666 (1077 AH), who gives the various dimensions mainly followed here).</p><p>The collection seems to have been renumbered: 43/C and 43/E are now respectively AKM79 and 80; other illustrations (not all 10) appear on the AKM website as AKM442-449, and all are now dated (1077)/1666-67.</p></p>
