<p style='text-align: justify;'><p>According to the bookplate attached on the inside front cover the copy was presented by the Marquis of Zwuddala to the Indian Institute in 1879</p><p>Rebound in Calcutta at the atelier R.C. Lepage & Co. (label attached on the inside back cover) (FA)</p><p>Still to decipher two other inscriptions by European owners, one dated 1847 (f. 1r and f. 605v).</p><p>Although the text is generally quite close to the standard editions, there are many departures in detail in terms of additional and omitted verses.</p><p>The manuscript could do with further investigation to complete the record and compare it with other pproductions from a similar milieu.</p></p>
