Illustrates diversity of structures for same purpose.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Bentham’s and Oliver’s good opinion of <i>Orchids</i> is reassuring.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Anxious to experiment on Melastomataceae; thinks it will give important results.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Wants <i>Leschenaultia formosa</i> to try whether viscid outside surface can be fertilised.</p>
