<p style='text-align: justify;'> The manuscript is a <i> Greek rhetorical, epistological, grammatical miscellany</i> from the 15th century. It is an example of a widely spread type of didactic miscellany in Byzantium. At the beginning are present some Byzantine texts on music, comprising a few ascribed to the famous composer, music theorist and singer Iohannes Koukouzeles (fl. 14th century, first half). </p><p style='text-align: justify;'> Although the manuscript was copied almost entirely by the same scribe, three parts can be distinguished, on the basis of the original numbering of quires and of the type of paper which was used. The fact the the same scribe copied texts in all three parts and that they share some watermarks, show that they were probably produced around the same period of time. </p>Dr Erika Elia
