<p style='text-align: justify;'>This composite manuscript consists of two separate parts (ff. 1r-107v and ff. 108r-172v) with medical works, including astronomical tables, and astrological and uroscopic texts and diagrams. The two parts were produced separately in England in the fifteenth century but probably joined together at an early stage.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Although the earliest provenance of the manuscript is unknown, in cataloguing this manuscript new details about its early 16th-century owners has been revealed: a previously unnoticed erased or faded inscription on f. <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(349);return false;'>172v</a> indicates that it was owned by George Amyas (born by 1513, d. 1553), merchant and physician of Lynn, Norfolk, and, subsequently, Thomas Amyas, his cousin. </p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Dr Clarck Drieshen<br /> Project Cataloguer<br /> Cambridge University Library</p>
