<p style='text-align: justify;'>This composite manuscript contains a large number of medical treatises and recipes. It also includes a unique Middle English deontological text that provides advice to a medical practitioner on their attitude and behaviour towards their patients (pp. <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(24);return false;'>20-22</a>) [transcribed and translated by Ingebretsen (2010)].</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>The manuscript also includes a small number of (previously unread) charms, one of which contains an unsual invocation of St Frideswide, patron saint of Oxford, against rats.</p><p style='text-align: justify;'>Dr Clarck Drieshen<br /> Project Cataloguer<br /> Cambridge University Library</p>
