Kettle's Yard

Jones expresses concern about Ede and his family after he had heard about air raids 'over your parts'. Jones had been reading the work of Cecil Chesterton, GK Chesterton's brother. Jones asks if Ede ever goes up towards Llanthony when on his travels. Jones had been dining with Kenneth Clark and TS Eliot in Clark's 'nice home' in Hampstead. He askes Ede about his work on American history.
