Lewis-Gibson

(a) The recto begins with the continuation of a seliḥa that began on L-G Lit. 2.42 f. 1v. This is followed by the first lines of various biblical תפלות (perhaps intended as aides memoire for the recitation of the whole Psalm: תפלה למשה (Psalm 90); תפלה לעני (Psalm 102); תפלה לחבקוק (Habakkuk 3). This is followed by (b) An Arabic text (in Arabic characters) on the pharmacological preparation of various materials via boiling and evaporation. Verso (a) heading: ברכת חודש. A piyyuṭ for Birkat ha-Mazon, in particular for Roš ḥodeš.
