<p style='text-align: justify;'>Leaf from David b. Joshua Maimonides' commentary on tractate Avot (אבות), in Judaeo-Arabic. Hand of the 14th-15th c. This leaf has the quire number 'seventeenth' (سابع عشر) in Arabic script in the top left-hand corner of recto. On verso, the heading פרק חמישי is written in a larger script. T-S Ar.47.213 is another piece of the same manuscript. See Fenton 'The Literary Legacy of David ben Joshua, Last of the Maimonidean Negidim', JQR (1984: 13-14).</p>
