<p style='text-align: justify;'> This manuscript contains two works by Sijistānī, The <i>Kitāb al-muʻammarīn</i><a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(5);return false;'>ff. 1r-66r</a> (the book of the long lived) and the <i>Kitāb al-waṣāyā</i><a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(138);return false;'>ff. 66v-103r</a> (Book of injunctions). It appears to be the collection's oldest dated handwritten book on paper. The date is stated at the end of the second work on <a href='' onclick='store.loadPage(211);return false;'>f. 103r</a> to Rajab 428/May 1037 in a note. This copy of the Kitāb al-muʻammarīn, which is believed to be the only extant copy of the work has been edited and translated by Ignác Goldzieher (1850-1921) from a photograph of this manuscript sent to him in 1896 from Cambridge.</p>
