<p style='text-align: justify;'>A memoir of Isabella Bain (née Lascelles-Ford), who travelled to Singapore in 1908 to marry the medical officer Dr Malcolm Rattray. She was interned at Changi civilian internment camp for two years during the Second World War, and later married the colonial administrator N.K. Bain. The file includes correspondence between the author of the memoir Kathleen E. Scharff and Hugh Bryson (11 sheets).</p>
