Medieval and Early Modern Greek Manuscripts

This manuscript consists of two parts, containing commentaries by Gregory of Nyssa and Polychronius Diaconus on the Song of Songs. The first part, in particular, is elegantly decorated with polychrome friezes. The present ff. 237 and 238 belonged to the first part of the manuscript, but were misbound at the end of the manuscript and replaced by a new bifolium in the position in which they were originally located.

Dr Matteo Di Franco
