<p style='text-align: justify;'>Fragment from a deed of sale for one half of a sugar factory in Minyat Zifta which was held in partnership by a Jew (‘the son of the Rav’) and a Muslim judge (the Qadi ʿAlī b. Qasām). The document also notes that the surrounding properties are partly Jewish-owned and partly Muslim-owned. Written by Nathan b. Samuel, ca. 1140 CE. On the verso the names Ḥusayn b. Ibrahim al-Maʿarī and Sālim Ibn al-Ašqar are listed.</p>
