Joseph the trader from Tyre, Abū Isḥāq Ibn al-Mumḥe, Abū l-Afrāḥ ʿArūs b. Joseph, Hillel b. Bunyām the perfumer and Simḥa ha-Kohen (known as Abū l-Ṣurūr b. ʿAmram). Dated Av 1409 of the Seleucid Era (= 1098 CE). Signed by Isaac b. Samuel and Nissim b. Nahray, and written and signed in the hand of the old Hillel b. ʿEli. F. 1r: legal document in which the silk-weaver Joseph b. Jacob al-Rūmī deposits the dowry of his wife Zayn bat Nissim following marital conflict, and mentions Maʿālī. Dated Av 1409 of the Seleucid Era (= 1098 CE). </p>
