<p style='text-align: justify;'>Pages from a Fusṭāṭ court notebook. F. 2r: legal document, concerning the change of alimony after a divorce, mentioning Nawīsa (נויסה), Talala (תללה), Barakāt (known as Ṣāniʿ b. Sālim) and Ḵalīl. Signed by Talala Samuel ha-Levi b. Saʿadya and Elʿazar b. Michael. In the hand of Samuel b. Saʿadya. F. 2v: legal document regarding a reward payment for locating a debtor called Abū l-Faḵr, who had fled from Fusṭāṭ to ʿAyḏāb. Dated Sivan 1497 of the Seleucid Era (= 1186 CE), and written under the authority of Sar Šalom Gaʾon. Mentions Abū l-Ḥasan, Abū l-Majd the dyer and Munā b. Tamīm. Ff. 1r-v: distribution of money and clothing, superscribed ‘the rest through Abū l-Bayān’, followed by a list of people, many of them widows, with names including daughter of Faraḥ, Umm Abū l-Ḵayr, Umm Marwān, Umm Daʿānī, widow of al-Daqqī, Abū l-Majd, Hiba b. Pinḥas etc. In the margin of f. 1v is an unrelated remark about a debt of 11 dinars to an orphan, dated 1495 of the Seleucid Era (= 1183 CE). In the hand of Samuel b. Saʿadya. </p>
