<p style='text-align: justify;'>Letter from Muḥāsin, possibly to his brother, sent from the Sudanese port ʿAyḏāb to Fusṭāṭ to the shop of Abū l-Munajjā the perfumer and to Abū Isḥāq the cantor. The writer says what has happened to the writer is too long to describe and will be told to the addressee by Abū ʿAlī b. Faḍā’il al-Ṣā’iḡ (the goldsmith). </p>
