Letter (query and responsum) from the head of Minyat Ḡamr, Moses b. Peraḥya (the letter is signed just 'Moses'), addressed to Abraham Maimonides, concerning the property left by a deceased freedwoman, on which the impoverished son of her former owner, Abū l-Ṭāhir b. Šeʾeriṯ, claims to have rights. Abraham Maimonides replies in the margin that the son has no claim but it could be turned over to him if the actual heirs consent to it.
