<p style='text-align: justify;'>The Nagid (probably from the house of Maimonides) asks the community for a collection for a scholar on his way to Jerusalem. A postscript in the margin in the same hand as the motto urges the community to expedite proceedings. Arabic basmala is written over the motto. </p>
