<p style='text-align: justify;'>Letter from Alexandria written during the invasion of the Crusaders in 1219 CE. It describes a Christian doctor treating a Jewish man for free and how every male in the city was drafted to dig the defensive ditch. Mentions a number of people including Abū l-ʿAlā, Abū l-Manṣūr (son of the addressee), Abū l-Faḵr, Abū l-Makārim, Abū l-Maʿānī, Abū l-Faḍā’il, Abū Isḥāq, Abū l-Bišr, Solomon ha-Sar, Abū l-Faraj and Abū l-Baqā. </p>
