Recto: letter to a Ḥaver, probably from one of his servants who seems to be at home with the wife of the addressee, called al-Kabīra. A previous letter together with a bill of exchange over 10 dinars from the addressee had reached the writer with Abū Saʿd al-Ḥalabī but then the redemption of the bill with Ezekiel failed. Also mentions the house of the Nagid, Judah, Sitt Ihtimām, Sulṭān al-Dawla (who caused trouble and was killed alongside 20 Jews) and a courier called Abū l-Faraj b. Naḥūm. Abū l-ʿAlā, Sitt Waṣl and the writer’s parents send greetings. Verso: petition to a caliph.
