Recto: postscript of the letter on verso, asking the recipient to take care of the bearer of the letter, Ṣedaqa b. Saʿadya, known as Abū ʿAsar al-Ṭahhān (the miller). In a different hand is greetings to the community from Šela ha-Kohen b. Ṣadūq b. Maṣliaḥ b. Z[...], Samuel b. Ḥalfon the doctor, David b. Isaac b. ʿEli and Musallam b. Barakāt b. Isḥāq. Verso: letter from Ashkelon, reporting the capture of Jerusalem by the Crusaders.
