He mentions Abū l-ʿAlā, Abū Saʿd Ibn al-Šakawī (אלשכוי), Ṭāhir Ibn al-Gadol and his business partner Ibn al-Wazzān, Ibn al-Ḥaver, Abū Wahbān, the elder al-Nafīs, Ibn Abū Naṣr, Damascus, Sitt Ḥaẓẓ, Sitt al-Ahl, Sitt al-Milāḥ, Sitt Nadd (the wife of the addressee’s maternal uncle) and al-Wajīhiyya. </p>
