<p style='text-align: justify;'>Court deed, in which five representatives of the Alexandrian Jewish community, Joseph b. Abraham (known as the Iraqi), Benjamin b. Simḥa, Ṣedaqa b. Joseph, Ḵallūf b. Saʿdān, and Marwān b. Ephraim, receive a donation of ten dinars given by Joseph b. Ḵalaf (known as the son of the mason), and delivered by Ṯābit ha-Kohen b. Ṭoviyya (known as the Babylonian), for the building of the holy ark of the Great (i.e. the Palestinian) Synagogue in Alexandria. Dated Wednesday, 9th Tammuz 4793 (= 1033 CE), in Alexandria. Witnessed by Sarī the teacher b. Ḥayyim, Aaron b. Judah, Solomon ha-Kohen b. ha-Kohen, and Menūḥā ha-Kohen b. Joseph. </p>
