<p style='text-align: justify;'>Part of a power of attorney, in which Ḥusayn b. Hillel (known as Qiṭōs), appoints Joseph b. Maḥfūẓ, to collect a debt owed to him by Jacob (known as the son of the cheese-maker). Dated Thursday, 26th Tammuz 4816 (= 1056 CE), in Dan that is Pamyas (i.e. Baniyas). Witnessed by ʿAmram b. Hillel, Ḵalaf b. Šela, Ṣedaqa b. Solomon ha-Kohen, and Isaiah b. Hillel. Following the signatures of the witnesses, all four signatures are validated in an attestation, witnessed by Aqiba b. Menaḥem, Ṣemaḥ b. Hiba, and Boaz the cantor b. David (cf. T-S 13J1.14). </p>
