<p style='text-align: justify;'>Legal document concerning a debt owed by Abraham Aripul (אריפול) to Jacob Castro (קשטרו). Dated Monday 20th Menaḥem (Av) 5348 (= 1588 CE) in Cairo, and written by Joseph b. Meʾir Someḵ (סומך) ha-Kohen. At the foot of the page is a postscript in a different hand, signed Yom Ṭov Miṭrani (מטראני), confirming the document was approved by R. Beṣalel Aškenazi (אשכנזי). </p>
