<p style='text-align: justify;'>Fragment from a circular, written by the Gaʾon Samuel b. ʿEli, in which the recipiants are exhorted to give the bearer of the letter funds to support the Babylonian academy, and to assist the bearer in his journey to the next Jewish community. The letter ends with a quote from Psalms 68:21, which is a signature for Samuel. Dated Iyyar 1487 (= 1176 CE). </p>
