Recto: legal document concerning a loan from Abū l-Majd the banker b. Abū l-Maḥāsin to David Abū l-ʿAlā b. Yefet al-Sukkarī (the sugar maker) b. Solomon. Signed Ephraim b. Samuel the teacher and Emmanuel b. Yeḥiʾel, who also wrote the document. Verso: receipts of payments and addendum to the document on recto. Dated Ševaṭ 1576 of the Seleucid Era (= 1265 CE).
