<p style='text-align: justify;'>Part of a will issued on the deathbed of [Samuel] b. Joseph (known as Ibn al-Jūbrānī). Samuel appoints his brother, Judah b. Joseph, to be trustee over all his estate. Witnessed by Hiba b. Joseph the glassmaker, Abraham b. Aaron and dated Nisan 4763 (= 1003 CE) in Damascus. Following the signatures of the witnesses is an attestation from the great court of the Land of Israel, witnessed by [Ḥananya] ha-Kohen ‘Father of the Yešiva, son of a Gaʾon’ (Ḥananya b. Joseph Gaʾon). </p>
