<p style='text-align: justify;'>Recto: part of the draft of a letter of thanks, in Hebrew, dated 1035 CE, from Ephraim b. Šemarya, probably to Solomon b. Judah, concerning the transfer of funds raised by Karaites and Rabbanites in Fusṭāṭ to help the Jewish community in Jerusalem with their taxes. This includes donations of 200 dinars from the Jews of the Maghreb and 35 dinars from the Jewish community in Sicily. Listed among the donors are David b. Isaac, who donated 20 dinars, ʿAmram b. Levi (known as the son of Buhūri), Samuel b. Isaac the maker of mortars, Ḵalaf b. [...] b. Taḡlab, Solomon b. Saʿadya, the Tustarī brothers (Sahl, Joseph and Saʿadya), who donated 10 dinars, Joseph ‘Head of the Row’, who donated 15 dinars, ‘our master’ Ephraim, Ezra b. Samuel b. Ezra, Sahlawaya b. Ḥayyim, Mevoraḵ b. Sahl, Yefet b. Isaac, Abraham b. ʿAmram, Ephraim ha-Kohen b. Abraham, and [...] b. Manṣūr. Accompanying the names of contributors are poetic eulogies.
